Quick Search : The Quick search drop down box will always be at the left of the page. It allows you to select from a range of general searches (such as - 'Show All', 'Show All Ponies', 'All Ireland', 'Under £1000', 'Showjumping' etc). If you want a more specific, filtered search then use the Advanced Search Option. |

Quick Link : Each time a Horse is added to our database it is given a Quick link number. If you enter a horses Quick link number into the Quick link box you will be taken directly to the advertisement you are looking for, without having to perform a search for it. |

Advanced Search : To use this feature click the 'Advanced Search' option on the navigation bar. It allows you to perform specific searches using your own chosen parameters. You can enter your specific criteria for Height, Age, Sex , Price, Category and Location. It will also give you options as to what order the results are displayed. |

Email Notification : To use this feature click the 'Email Notification' option on the navigation bar. It allows you to enter your Email address and criteria of the specific horse you are looking for. Once you have submitted the form you will then recieve an E mail each time a horse that matches your criteria is added to the database. |

Compare Horses : This feature is helpful for narrowing down results pages into a manageable amount and allows you to compare them against eachother. You can click the compare box of up to six horses when browsing through the results of a search you have performed. Then once you click the 'Compare Now' button (located near the top and bottom of every search results page) the horses you selected for comparison will be brought up on a single page for you to view. |

For those of you wishing to place an advertisement on HorseAbout please click the 'Submitting an Advert' link on the navigation bar for full details. With Horseabout, unlike other websites, your ad can be live instantly as soon as your credit card payment has gone through, its fully automated. You can upload your photos yourself, or forward them via post or Email to HorseAbout for uploading. Its entirely up to you.
