HorseAbout is a new and innovative website designed specifically for selling horses and ponies from all disciplines and categories of equestrian sport. The services offered on the site will be expanded in the future to include other facets of advertising from the general Equestrian Forum, such as Horseboxes, Trailers, Clothing, Business Ads etc, so it is hoped to eventually bring a large selection of equestrian service's to your fingertips at home via the net.

The HorseAbout site is one of the most modern and up to date of its kind and brings, among other features, the facility to upload your advertisements and pictures directly onto the site from your home computer, thus allowing instant access into the advertising columns. If, of course, your computing skill does not yet reach these heights, then the option remains to post or Email your material to HorseAbout for uploading on your behalf.

As the webmaster and proprietor of HorseAbout, I was educated at the Royal Belfast Academical Institution and latterly at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne from where I attained my degree in 2003. After leaving university I formed my own company, Captive Design, which specialises in website design, construction and management.

HorseAbout is an online system which I have designed. The site contains many user friendly features which are designed to allow navigation of the site with ease when one is seeking to view the contents of its advertisements or when one is placing an advert themselves. This is a vast improvement on many other websites which are invariably difficult and complicated to understand and navigate.

My inspiration for the HorseAbout website stems from my own many years of experience and interest in equestrianism, spanning right back to the age of five when I started riding and continued into showjumping ponies at the highest level in Ireland and UK. I am currently riding my own horse at home again now that I have completed university. This experience and knowledge in equestrianism will of course reflect on the layout and design of the HorseAbout website and will hopefully permeate through when dealing with customers who are seeking personal help and advice, which I will provide in a helpful and friendly manner.
