Advertisements on HorseAbout now cost only £5 (or euro equivalent). Advertisements will be displayed on the site for a period of up to 3months, or until your horse is sold. HorseAbout must be notified via Email as soon as your Horse is sold so it can be removed from the site. Advertising your Horse on HorseAbout is easy and our fully automated system means you can have your ad live within minutes. During the Advert submission process you will be given the option of paying by cheque or Credit Card. Ads paid by Credit Card will be active instantly, those ads being paid for by cheque will be activated once payment is received.
Uploading Photos
HorseAbout has a fully automated Image upload facility allowing you to upload your photographs onto the site yourself. It is very simple to use and means that you do not have to forward images for uploading, as with other sites. We allow up to three images per advertisement. To use the Image upload facility you must first ensure that your images are -
in .jpg .gif or .png format.
HorseAbout can now accept and resize any size of image. However, we do recommend that you downsize large pictures before uploading as this will greatly reduce the length of time it takes to upload them. If you are resizing your images before uploading then for optimum results you should downsize them to a width of 320 pixels, as this is the size they will be displayed at on the site.
If you do not have any digital pictures, then you will be given the option during the advert submission process to forward pictures via post or Email to HorseAbout for uploading.
Payment for Advertisements
We accept the following Credit and Debit cards as payment methods for your advertisements. If you are paying by cheque you will be given instructions during the advert submission process.
